Product Description:
Hexagon flange toothed bolt is a common mechanical connection element, usually used in the need for high strength and vibration resistance connection. Its name consists of several parts, which are explained as follows:
1. Hexagonal flange:
Hexagonal: refers to the shape of the bolt head is hexagonal. The hexagonal design allows bolts to be tightened and loosened with tools such as wrenches or pliers.
Flange: There is a flat surface with an extended edge below the bolt head, which is called the "flange". Flanges help to disperse the pressure applied to the bolt and increase the contact area, thereby reducing damage or loosening caused by excessive local pressure.
2. With teeth:
Tooth design: There are usually toothed structures on the flange, which can help the bolt bite better with the surface of the connected object, enhance the friction force, and prevent the connection part from loosening due to vibration or external force. This design is often used where anti-loosening or anti-slip is required.
3. Bolts:
Bolt body: The bolt itself has a thread, which is used to match with the nut or the thread in the hole to complete the tightening. Bolts can withstand tension and pressure and are often used to connect two or more pieces of objects.
Main functions and applications:
Anti-loosening effect: Toothed design can effectively prevent the connection from loosening due to vibration or external force, often used in machinery, automotive, construction and other engineering fields.
Load distribution: Flanges can distribute the pressure applied to the bolt to avoid local damage.
Enhanced tightening: Through the toothed structure, additional friction is provided to ensure a stronger connection.
Advantages:
1. Strong anti-loosening effect
The flange has a toothed structure (toothed flange), which increases the friction between the bolt and the connecting surface, thereby effectively preventing loosening problems due to vibration, impact or prolonged use. This design is especially suitable for applications that require high strength connections, such as automobiles, mechanical equipment, and building structures.
2. Improve load distribution capability
The design of the hexagonal flange provides a larger contact area than ordinary hexagonal bolts, which can effectively disperse the pressure applied to the bolt, reduce a single point of stress concentration, and reduce the damage caused by excessive local stress. This makes the bolts more reliable in environments with high loads and frequent load changes.
3. Simplify installation and disassembly
The wide face of the flange allows greater torque to be used in tightening, thus achieving a higher tightening torque. Due to the hexagonal design of the bolt head, it can be quickly and easily installed and removed by standard tools (such as wrenches), saving time and effort, and reducing the complexity of operation.
4. Enhanced vibration resistance
Due to the features of flange tooth design, it can increase the friction between the bolt and the connected object, and the anti-vibration performance is more prominent. It is especially suitable for applications that withstand vibration and repeated shocks, reducing loosening and fatigue caused by long-term vibration.
5. Extra gaskets saved
Compared with ordinary bolts, hexagonal flange bolts with teeth usually do not require additional washers due to the design of the flange. The flange itself acts as a washer, saving materials and installation steps, and also reducing the trouble of installation.
6. Enhance corrosion resistance
Some hexagonal flange bolts with teeth will have a special surface treatment (such as hot dip galvanized or stainless steel), so that they have better corrosion resistance, adapt to more harsh working environments, and extend the service life of the bolt.
7. Meet standards and improve reliability

8. Prevent crushing or scratching the connected object
