Product Description

This is a 1/2-20 inch Zinc drive-in trailer hub stud, designed to fit into trailer hubs on 2,000 lb to 7,000 lb capacity axles. This 2-inch length stud has a threaded length of 1.25 inches, so it is a good replacement for idler trailer hubs, integral disc brake rotors, and drum hubs installed on utility trailers, RV trailers, enclosed trailers, and livestock trailers. You will commonly see this size stud on hubs with 5 to 8 lug bolt patterns, using 1/2" - 20 lug nuts. The stud is installed by hammering in the replacement stud into the spot that you are replacing a missing or damaged stud, and then torquing down the stud with a nut and wrench until it is fully seated into place. If you need to replace the studs on your trailer's hub studs, these 1/2 inch Zinc replacements are a great option for getting you back on the road safely!
